Under supervision, assists in the definition and programming of moderately complex software.
Works effectively on several phases of systems/software programming/analysis with little direction, but may require some instruction and guidance for other aspects.
Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software operating systems for the organizations products.
May assist in the coding of benchmark testing, job accounting and other control modules developed internally by the company.
May assist with moderately complex software applications, such as system generations, compilers, link editors, and assemblers.
Candidate may be working on multiple projects and must be able to switch from project to project.
Responsibilities include accessing customer needs, put together estimates for systems, configure the system and network parameters, and develop and maintain comprehensive application and system documentation.
Position requires the ability to troubleshoot and provide recommendations for improvement.
Position will require work with outside organizations to provide feedback and input for improving processes.
Candidate will have the opportunity to work and develop new techniques for application hosting.
The candidate will be working on a server implementation team and is responsible for developing an implementation plan, schedule, installation package, engineering drawings and test plan based on the customer requirements.
